   The bus service ALSA (902 42 22 42) connects Benidorm with this lovely village of Muslim origin, located at an amazing geographical spot. The Algar river flows through this municipal area and enriches the surrounding land, which is famous for the high quality of fruit ( as for instance, loquats). The main tourist attraction is the natural area known as “Las fuentes del Algar”, a series of surprising waterfalls, springs and river landscapes. There is a lovely itinerary through bridges and steps that allow discovering the beauty of all the lakes, waterfalls and river landscapes. There are several rest areas, picnic areas and even restaurants along the way and, as a very rewarding experience, we recommend a visit to the Environment Museum, which is free.
