been a hard day, and all you need is having a drink while you chat at a quiet place and listen to some music. How about some rock music? pop? blues? … you name it. What about watching a live show, or a monologue…?. Or dancing? Everything is close at hand, for the Levante area has a vast number of disco-pubs ( Ku Playa, Racha, Heart break...) that play Spanish music, live music, the latest Latin hits or the hottest house music… and these are just a few options!.
Although Levante beach wants to be the centre or entertainment, the Old Historical Town is also a main meeting point for enjoying nightlife, with plenty of pubs surrounding the old Town Council that play Spanish and Latin music, mainly, and the eternal rock music. Good price, a nice atmosphere and the special flavour of the old streets are just some of the ingredients in this popular area. Bear in mind that most pubs close between 3 and 4 in the morning…will that be late enough for you?
You can make a little effort and walk a few steps until you reach Esperanto street, which is full of pubs and places to have a drink, with different music styles and lovely terraces where to enjoy the night. And feel transported to a different country, when visiting the zona inglesa (that is, the British Area) at the nearby Avenida Mallorca, at the north of Benidorm. Do you feel like going for a tour abroad?
I see...maybe you still need some more. Well, let’s got to the discos area. Most of them are found near the Avenida de la Comunidad Valenciana, at the city outskirts. Closing times won’t be a problem: you can always welcome a new day while you’re still dancing at one of them: do Penélope, KM, Pachá, Racha Rock, Ku, Fun Factory ring a bell? The choice is yours, and some of them even combine different ambiences at the same place.
For those who still have some energy left, simply walk to one of the after-hours that are located close to the discos.
Now you see why Benidorm’s nightlife is so popular and admired by the great number of people that have experienced it. |
