Terra Mítica: What about a tour around the Mediterranean for very little money? Rome, Egypt, Iberia, Greece... everything is close at hand at this amusement park where you’ll feel transported to the past. There are plenty of breathtaking and funny attractions to enjoy, and it’s addressed to all ages and tastes: whether you just want to release some adrenaline, or watch a show…be ready to have lots of fun! You can also try one of the different restaurants and buy some souvenirs to take home. It’s located on the Road connecting Benidorm-Finestrat. Urban bus service routes 21 and 22 will take you there. The park is closed at Winter time, so it’s a good idea to check opening dates on their website.
Terra Natura: More than 1,500 animals will welcome you to this park, which recreates the natural environment of America, Asia and Europe. You can also tour around Pangea and have fun at the water attractions of “El Mare Nostrum”. It’s an amazing tour where you’ll be able to learn more things and curiosities about the local fauna and flora of each of the represented countries. There are more than 50 endangered species at the park. As to go to Terra Mítica, you can take urban bus service routes 21 and 22 from Benidorm, and please do check their opening dates.
Mundomar: Dolphins, seals, parrots, flamingos, turtles, sea lions and penguins, among many other, are waiting for you at this animal park. There are shows all day, and we’re sure you’ll love the animals at Mundomar. To get there from Benidorm, take the Avenida Del Mediterráneo. Local bus routes 1 and 4 will take you to the park’s entrance.
Aqualandia: A water park with lots of attractions to have real fun: water falls, huge swimming-pools, funny-shaped water chutes, vertiginous falls..., located close to Mundomar. Local bus routes 1 and 4 go there, but again, please check opening dates, for, even though the temperature is mild, there are periods when getting too wet is not recommended.
Museo de cera de Benidorm: Did you always wanted to meet your favourite singer or actor/actress? Well, this is the place. At Benidorm’s Wax Museum, at number 8 on Avenida del Meditarráneoyou’ll find the figures of more than 130 popular characters created by José Ballester.
Museo de soldados de plomo: The Toy Soldier Museum can be an amazing and original experience, whether you are a toy soldier enthusiast or not. There’s a collection of more than 2,000 toy soldiers, besides some war models. It’s also located at number 8 on Avenida del Mediterráneo, sharing the place with the Wax Museum.
Festilandia: An open-air trade fair that houses diverse attractions, especially for children. It offers the possibility of touring around the municipality on a tourist train, as well as all kind of services for visitors. It’s open all year around on Avenida del Mediterráneo. |
